Dumping outbreak in Canna Avenue

Strewn waste dumped at the end of Canna Avenue in Forderville.

The illegal dumping at the end of Canna Avenue has once again become a source of great concern for residents and church-goers living near the area.

Locals are being led to believe that since the spot is quiet and out of sight, the dumping will not be tended to.

The road side is now reduced to a dumping site.

Nearby church-goers also feel that it gives off a bad image and is becoming unhealthy with the smell intensifying during the warmer temperatures.

The once green field is now nothing but an unhealthy eye sore filled with domestic waste, garden refuse and building rubble.

They are appealing to authorities, who seem to be turning a blind eye to the illegal activities that are taking place there, to enforce the laws and fine those who are turning the road into a dumping site.
