Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality hands over two houses

One of the two houses handed over to a needy family in Amabhalonini.

The Mayor of Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality Jabulie Mbele, on October 28 visited the Amabhalonini area to hand over two houses that were built by the municipality to assist two needy families.

The Mayor was very excited to hand over the houses and said the initiative shows that government cares about the well-being of its citizens.

“We would like to congratulate those who have received the houses today,” she said and asked the recipients to keep the houses in a good condition.

One of the recipients said she was very excited to move into her newly built home.

“I prayed for this day and now that it has arrived I am over the moon. Now my children and grandchildren have a roof over their heads. We will now sleep in peace at night. I would like to thank government for building me this beautiful house,” she said.

The Ward Councillor Mr BP Mngandi thanks the municipality for building houses for these needy families and further thanked them for choosing his ward.
