The group has various kinds of physical disabilities but hope their newly-formed affiliation will allow them the opportunity to tap into their creative side.
The hospice team would appreciate donations of wool, cotton, fabric, paint, super glue, needles, sewing kits, sponge and beads.
Social Worker, Bongi Zwane has been overseeing the smooth running of this project since its inception. Mrs Zwane has been helping the aspiring crafters make items like cushions and jewellery.

The group hopes to eventually sell their crafts and become self-sufficient. The Disabled Support Group meets monthly at the Wembezi Apostolic Faith Mission Church. Members keep occupied by learning crafts and supporting each another through the various challenges they face.
If you can help keep the Disabled Support Group functional, drop off donations at Hospice Association located at 46 Beechwood Road.
