UPDATE: Hunt for stolen golf club items continues

Philip Boshoff, Estcourt Golf Club Manager stares into one of two deep freezers which were emptied out of its contents during the robbery.

A whopping R70 000 worth of valuables were stolen during a robbery at the Estcourt Golf Club on July 23.

The robbers, who are still at large, left the club house in ruins as they stole three televisions, a computer, a mini hi-fi, cash, alarm system, camera system, alcohol and food.

The Estcourt Golf Club committee is desperate to get back the electrical appliances and cash and therefore put out an appeal to the public to have their ears and eyes open for anyone trying to resell these items.

A case of house break-in is being investigated by Estcourt detectives.
