Refuse removal left to the dogs in Estcourt

Due to the refuse removal delay, these rubbish bags placed out on Friday were ripped apart by dogs on Monday morning.

Another refuse removal delay was experienced in some residential areas last week.

The evidence lies scattered on the roadside after passing animals have ripped the refuse bags apart.

A resident from Salvia Road who called the Estcourt News on Friday said that the eyesore outside the yard, which included ripped refuse bags, was beginning to blow into the family’s premises.

The Estcourt News submitted an inquiry to Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality asking about what caused the delay, however no response was received at the time of going to print.

Unofficial reports are that the refuse removal truck has experienced another breakdown.
