Grade three culture fun at St Gregory Primary School

On August 24, the grade threes of St Gregory Primary School showed off their cultures in a fun presentation.

During the course of the term they learnt about food and cultural differences in food.

As a culminating activity they dressed in their traditional clothing, presented a speech about their culture and shared traditional food with each other.

The cultures represented were isiZulu, Hindu, Afrikaans, German, Sesotho, isiXhosa, English, Dutch, Muslim and Irish – showcasing a truly diverse South African classroom.
